All US Residents Welcome

As of November last year, Costa Rica is open to residents of all 50 US states. Unlike many other parts of the world right now, you don’t even need to show that you have had a negative test result to get into the country.

Digital Form

However, you must complete a digital form before you travel, called a health pass, which you can get within 48 hours of traveling. You also have to have travel insurance by law if you are traveling to Costa Rica.

Businesses Open

Most businesses are open, although face coverings are compulsory everywhere. Beaches are open, and national parks too – but the latter at only 50% capacity. Nonetheless, you can pretty much have a normal Costa Rica holiday right now.
