Traveling to Jordan – COVID-19 Updates

Unlike in ordinary times when moving to Jordan was one way, today, there are various travel limitations to reduce the spread of the virus.

However, if you travel to Jordan, there are various guidelines for you, such as;

What Are the Travel Restrictions?

Jordan is open for visitors. However, they have some restrictions to keep the people safe during the pandemic.

For instance, once you decide to depart to Jordan, you will need to fill out an arrival form before the flight. Then you will need to present the results of a negative PCR test done within the first three days of departure. Moreover, you will need health insurance and pay $39 for another COVID-19 test.

On arrival, travelers with a negative result can leave for their various destinations since they do not need to undergo mandatory quarantine. On the other hand, those who test positive will be subjected to compulsory home isolation for a minimum of ten days.

Wearing face masks is a must in all places, from public transportation to business enterprises and even government offices. Furthermore, to curb the spread of the virus, there is a curfew from 11 pm till dawn.

Additionally, everyone above the age of two years leaving Jordan will need to present a negative result of the COVID test taken within 72 hours of leaving. This is a necessity before allowing them to board their flights.

Also, documented evidence from an authorized healthcare provider of recovery from Corona within the previous ninety days is acceptable.
