Slovakia is among the countries in Europe that have adjusted its travel restrictions. Anyone from the US can enter Slovakia. However, you have to be an immediate family member to a Slovak citizen. Anyone else within Europe can travel to Slovakia.
If you must travel to Slovakia, you need to be fully vaccinated. Anyone ten years and older, and wishes to enter Slovakia must fill out an electronic monitoring form. Additionally, they should remain in quarantine until they receive a negative covid test.
Luckily, anyone entering Slovakia from within Europe doesn’t necessarily have to take a test but should register and quarantine for 14 days. Other exceptional countries are Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Northern Ireland.
As of April 19, 2021, you do not have to be quarantined if you are fully vaccinated two weeks prior or recovered from the virus within six months.
Anyone in Slovakia must wear an FFP2 mask if they use public transport or engage in indoor activities. If you wish to travel from Slovakia to the US, you need to show a negative covid-19 test taken 72 hours before your departure time.
