However, the Covid-19 pandemic has decimated the tourism, hospitality, and travel industry. Countries are still battling this invisible enemy, and Spain is not spared.

Spain was one of the strictest lockdowns in Europe in 2020. The country has suffered greatly with skyrocketing numbers of new cases and deaths. The state of emergency that began in November was lifted on May 9, 2021.

Spain is daring to tourists, thanks to laidback vibe, warm weather, and excellent cuisine. But the current Covid-19 travel restrictions might halt your dream to visit Spain. Travelers from European Union, Rwanda, Israel, China, Singapore, and Australia are allowed to visit Spain without getting quarantined.

On May 24, Spain lifted travel restrictions on non-essential travel from Japan and the UK. This means travelers from these two countries can enter Spain without being subjected to a Covid-19 test.

If you’re traveling from India, you must take the Covid test and undergo a 10-day quarantine.
