How to Build Ceylon
The south coast is the finale, not the whole trip: the classic circuit runs Colombo arrival → the cultural triangle (Sigiriya's rock) → the hill country by train (Nuwara Eliya's tea bungalows; the Resplendent Ceylon estate stays are the move) → Yala for leopards → then the coast to decompress: Amangalla for the fort's atmosphere, Amanwella or Cape Weligama for the beach act.
