The golf is world-class and worth planning around: the Tom Fazio-designed Green Monkey, carved through a coral quarry, is among the most exclusive rounds anywhere (resort guests only), with the Country Club course as the everyday track. Off the fairways: the beach's legendary swimming-with-turtles boat runs, a kids' club (the Tree House) that makes this one of the Caribbean's most genuinely family-capable grand resorts, and Monday's folkloric Bajan buffet that nobody admits to loving and everybody attends.
Strategy: summer is the secret — the identical resort at roughly half the winter tariff, with calm seas and the island at its friendliest. Festive requires commitment (minimum stays, deposits, and a booking made the previous winter).
