Ocean lovers should look at Tintswalo Atlantic or the Twelve Apostles; POD suits a stylish Camps Bay beach stay, and the Cellars-Hohenort a quiet Constantia garden base near the wine farms. For two, Ellerman House keeps just 13 rooms and two villas, with a spa and sunset terraces over Bantry Bay, and Tintswalo Atlantic's suites sit on the rocks below Chapman's Peak with a heated pool on the deck. With children, One&Only's KidsOnly club takes ages four to 11 and babysitting is on hand, and the Nellie has a kids' club, two outdoor pools and nine acres of gardens to run in.
