Explora Journeys is what happens when a giant of European shipping decides to build a luxury brand with no legacy fleet to work around. Created by MSC Group and founded in 2021 out of Geneva, the line launched with entirely new ships designed as floating boutique hotels — ocean-facing suite accommodations, a high ratio of open deck to guest, and interiors that read contemporary European rather than classic cruise.
