The Best Rosewood Hotels, Ranked by Guest Reviews

Two-thirds of Rosewoods cannot be ranked on recent guest reviews yet, and that is the honest place to start. To make this list a hotel needs at least 50 verified reviews written since June 2024 on our booking platform, and only 14 of the 42 Rosewoods have them. Some are too new (the Chancery, Amsterdam, Mandarina, Courchevel and Doha have few or no reviews with us); others sell little through our platform, so their latest 100 reviews stretch back years: the Hôtel de Crillon's go back to March 2023, Mayakoba's to 2018. We list those separately, marked †, rather than mixing old reviews with new.

How we scored it: on 1 October 2026 we took the 100 most recent verified guest reviews at each hotel on our booking platform and scored them ourselves (the mean out of 10, the share scoring 9 or more and the share under 7). The same day we priced the same stays at every hotel through our own booking engine, the one behind hotels.biirdee.com; rates are the lowest per night on 10–13 Nov 2026, 12–15 Mar 2027 and 15–18 Jul 2027, and taxes the hotel collects at checkout are extra.

What Guests Rate at the Top Ten

Rosewood Sao Paulo (9.70) wins on consistency: 92% of its recent guests scored 9 or more and only 1% under 7, most of them couples (76% of reviewers). It is the critics' pick too, No.6 in The 50 Best Hotels 2026 (Best Hotel in South America) with Three MICHELIN Keys, though Forbes lists it only as Recommended. Its cheapest rate included breakfast on three of our four stays, from $629 a night between Christmas and New Year. Rosewood Hotel Georgia in Vancouver (9.42) is the quiet overachiever: service came up in 65% of written reviews, scoring 9.29, and it cost $414–948 a night on our dates. Rosewood Hong Kong (9.41) is No.1 in The 50 Best Hotels for the second year; guests single out the service (71% of written reviews, scoring 9.64) and the food (41%, scoring 9.63). Only suites were left for our November stay ($3,128); every other month the midweek rate was $897–974.

Rosewood Bangkok (9.40) is the value pick: 2% of guests under 7, breakfast mentioned in 36% of written reviews and scoring 9.69, and $286–336 a night on three of our four stays. Rosewood Guangzhou (9.35), Forbes Five-Star on floors 95–108 of the CTF Finance Centre, draws praise for the view (38% of written reviews, scoring 9.61) at $352–412 a night. Rosewood Vienna (9.34) is a service story: it came up in 74% of written reviews, scoring 9.75, at $717–756 a night outside our Christmas stay. The Carlyle (9.32) is the best-reviewed of the seven New York luxury hotels we scored, but 11% of its recent guests scored it under 7, the most in our top eight; it ran from $839 a night in March to $2,104 for our November stay.

Rosewood Schloss Fuschl (9.25), the lakeside castle outside Salzburg, holds Three MICHELIN Keys; guests love the view (32% of written reviews, scoring 9.22) and are cooler on the spa (36%, scoring 8.1), and its rate swings from $534 a night in March to $2,531 in July. The Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe (9.12) and Villa Magna in Madrid (8.97) round out the top ten; both have 12–13% of guests under 7.

Guests and critics agree at the very top: Sao Paulo and Hong Kong sit in our top three and in the top six of The 50 Best Hotels 2026, and both hold Three MICHELIN Keys. Forbes is the outlier there, rating both Recommended, a step below Four-Star. Further down they part ways. Hotel Georgia and Vienna (Forbes Four-Star, no 50 Best listing) score with the brand's best on our guest data, while Rosewood London, Forbes Five-Star and No.56 in The 50 Best Hotels, places 13th of 14.

At the Bottom

Rosewood Baha Mar (8.10) is the brand's weak spot on our numbers: 29% of recent guests scored it under 7. Reviews that mention the food (31% of written reviews) average 6.84, and those that mention price (14%) average 5.71; it cost $1,200–2,117 a night on our dates. Rosewood London (8.73) is the bigger surprise, and 13th of the 14 London luxury hotels we scored: half its recent reviewers were families, and reviews that mention children average 6.83, while breakfast came up in 28% of written reviews, averaging 7.4. Rosewood Jeddah (8.85), Munich (8.95) and Villa Magna (8.97) sit just under 9.

The Crillon is the notable absence. Its latest 100 reviews reach back to March 2023; on them it scores 9.54 with only 4% under 7, which would place it second behind Sao Paulo, and The 50 Best Hotels 2026 ranks it No.14 in the world. We still keep it out of the ranking, because older reviews describe an older hotel. Mayakoba (9.92 on reviews from 2018 to 2025) and Castiglion del Bosco (9.44) look just as strong on older data. Le Guanahani in St. Barth (9.91 across only 46 reviews) is not listed at all: it leaves Rosewood on 1 October 2026 and reopens as Airelles Le Guanahani on 1 November.
