Bulgari Hotels: All Nine, What's Coming, and Why There Are No Points
Nine hotels, one architect's eye, Niko Romito's Italian cooking in the cities, and a deliberate refusal to join Marriott Bonvoy: the jeweler's hotels, decoded.

Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is the Roman jeweler's hotel brand, run with Marriott since the first hotel opened in Milan in 2004 and part of LVMH since it bought Bulgari in 2011. It is the smallest and most exclusive brand anywhere near Marriott: nine hotels, every one designed by the Milan studio Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, nearly all with an Il Ristorante overseen by the three-Michelin-star chef Niko Romito, and each with a Bulgari Bar and a serious spa. The effect is consistent in a way few luxury brands manage: you know the hotel before you arrive, and it is always a pleasure.
The catch for points travelers is total: Bulgari hotels sit outside Marriott Bonvoy. No points are earned, none can be redeemed, and elite status is not recognized, a deliberate choice to keep the brand scarce. No Points, and How to Book Bulgari Well
Marriott Bonvoy's terms list "Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, all locations" as non-participating: stays earn no Bonvoy points, awards can't be booked, and elite status brings no benefits. It is a deliberate choice by LVMH to keep the brand small, expensive and separate from the Marriott mass market, and it means the booking channel is the only perk layer there is.
That channel is Marriott's STARS luxury advisor program, which includes Bulgari: booked through an advisor at the public flexible rate, a Bulgari stay adds daily breakfast for two, a US$100 hotel credit per stay, an upgrade on arrival when available and a welcome amenity. At Bulgari prices, breakfast for two alone is worth well over $100 a day. How many Bulgari hotels are there?
Nine as of September 2026: Milan, Bali, London, Beijing, Dubai, Shanghai, Paris, Rome and Tokyo. Resorts in the Maldives (Ranfushi) and Bodrum are due in 2027, with Miami Beach, Cave Cay in the Bahamas and Abu Dhabi to follow.
Is Bulgari part of Marriott?
Marriott operates Bulgari Hotels & Resorts in partnership with the jeweler, which LVMH owns. But the hotels sit outside Marriott Bonvoy: no points, no redemptions and no elite recognition.
Can I use Marriott Bonvoy points at Bulgari hotels?
No. Bonvoy's terms exclude all Bulgari hotels and resorts from earning, redemption and elite benefits. The only perks come through Marriott's STARS advisor program: breakfast for two, a $100 credit and an upgrade when available.
Is there a Bulgari hotel in Moscow or Los Angeles?
No. The Moscow hotel dropped the Bulgari name after LVMH left Russia, and the planned Los Angeles resort in Benedict Canyon was cancelled when the city revoked its approvals in 2023.
Which Bulgari hotel is the best?
For a resort, Bali, on its clifftop at Uluwatu; for a city, Tokyo for the views, Paris for the Palace polish and Rome for the setting in the brand's home city. Milan, the original, remains the most fun.
