Four Seasons Prices: What a Night Really Costs in 2026–27

How much does a night at Four Seasons cost? Across the 128 Four Seasons hotels and resorts we track, the median lowest rate on our four test stays was $789–838 a night, inside a range that runs from $202 to $9,136. Around that headline sit four things that change what you actually pay: breakfast, cancellation terms, suites and the taxes collected at checkout. This page puts a figure on each, hotel by hotel.

How We Priced 128 Hotels

On 1 October 2026 we priced the same stays at every Four Seasons through our own booking engine (the one behind hotels.biirdee.com) and scored the 100 most recent verified guest reviews at each hotel ourselves. The four test stays were 10–13 November 2026, 27–30 December 2026 (New Year), 12–15 March 2027 and 15–18 July 2027. For a 12-month view we also priced a two-night midweek stay (Tuesday to Thursday of the third week) in every month from November 2026.

Every rate on this page is the lowest per room per night the engine charged at booking on 1 October 2026. Live rates change daily, so treat these as a map, not a quote. Taxes the hotel collects at checkout (US occupancy tax, city taxes) are extra, and we show them separately below. On any one stay, between 10 and 30 of the 128 hotels had nothing bookable ("No rooms" in the tables): sold out, closed for the season or not sold through our engine. We read nothing more into a blank.

Reading the Extremes

The cheap end of Four Seasons is in China, India, Southeast Asia, the Gulf and Bogotá. Jakarta sold only suites and still came in at $203–224 a night on our three main stays, and Beijing and Tianjin priced under $300 on every one of our four dates. Some cheap rates come with a catch: Shenzhen cost $943 in November but $234 in March, and Macao, Bengaluru and Suzhou had rooms on our engine only for our November and New Year dates.

At the top are properties where the cheapest key is a villa, tent or suite (the Golden Triangle camp, Bora Bora, the Seychelles, and the Surf Club in July), plus two city flagships. Among city hotels the George V has the highest typical price (the middle of its three test-stay rates was $2,731), and the New York tower sold only junior suites on all four of our test stays, from $1,923 to $2,569 a night. The Tented Camp's rates are full board, so its $3,273–9,136 includes every meal.

Region by Region

The four tables below are a selection: European cities and resorts, North American cities, beach and island resorts, and the city hotels of Asia and the Middle East. Each row gives our guest score and the lowest rate per night on all four test stays (November, New Year, March, July). † marks an older review window; read those scores as directional.

The Cheapest Months

Brand-wide, February is the month to aim for: the median lowest rate fell to $785 a night, December was close behind at $794, and February was the cheapest month at 23 hotels (December at 16, August at 12). May was the dearest month ($930), then June ($911). The spread between the cheapest and dearest month is modest across the brand as a whole and dramatic at individual hotels, which is why the month matters more for some trips than others.

Among the city flagships, the George V is cheapest in November ($2,359) and dearest in January ($3,442); Hong Kong, New York Downtown, London Park Lane and Seoul bottom out in February; Tokyo at Otemachi is cheapest in August ($939) and dearest in April ($1,744). Seoul swings the most, from $651 in February to $2,950 in September. Among the resorts, Bora Bora runs from $1,698 in January to $4,617 in May, Landaa Giraavaru from $3,073 in January to $1,968 from May to September, and Punta Mita from $1,844 in February to $908 in August.

What Breakfast Adds

Most Four Seasons rates are room only: the cheapest rate already included breakfast at just 12–18% of hotels on our four stays, for example at Koh Samui, Chiang Mai and Bora Bora, where breakfast came with every test-stay rate we found. Where a hotel sold the same room, on the same cancellation terms, with and without breakfast, adding breakfast for two cost a median $134 a night in November, $121 at New Year, $68 in March and $247 in July. The median swings because only 8 to 18 hotels sold both versions on any one stay, so the mix of hotels changes it.

The hotel matters far more than the date. At Whistler, Beijing, Athens and Bangkok, breakfast added $3–7 a night on the stays where it was sold separately; at Milano it added $545–859 on every one of our four stays; at Tokyo at Otemachi it was $744 in November and $114 at New Year. Our advice: compare the two rates before you book, and if breakfast is expensive, book through a channel that includes it. What Free Cancellation Adds

Where a hotel sold the same room both ways, the refundable rate cost a median 10% more than the non-refundable one in November, 8% at New Year, 17% in March and 18% in July. Again the hotel decides. Seoul and Beijing charged 1% for flexibility on most of our stays and Milano 6% on all four; the Beverly Wilshire charged 33% on three of our four stays, Jakarta 30–33% and Bora Bora 39% in March. At many hotels, including the George V on three of our four dates, the cheapest rate was already refundable.

If your dates are fixed and the premium is a third, non-refundable saves real money. If they might move, flexibility is cheap at more hotels than you would think. Either way, ask for both prices before choosing.

What Suites Cost

The cheapest suite cost a median 1.54x to 1.81x the cheapest room across our four stays, and the top category on sale 3.3 to 4.1 times as much. The step up is gentle at some hotels and steep at others: at Chicago an Executive Suite was $750 against a $639 room in November, while at the George V the cheapest suite was $4,863 against $2,459, and at Tokyo at Otemachi $2,884 against $1,087. Bangkok sold no suites through our engine on any of our four stays, and Seoul on only one.

Watch for "suites only". On each stay, 12 to 20 hotels had only suites left, and at some the cheapest key is always a villa or suite: the New York flagship sold only junior suites on all four of our test stays, Jakarta only suites, Koh Samui only pool villas and Chiang Mai only pavilions and residences. At the very top, Bora Bora's two-bedroom Poereva suite was $10,516 a night in March and Chicago's two-bedroom Lakeshore Terrace Suite $9,375 in July.

Reading the Tax Line

Rates on this page leave out what the hotel collects at checkout. In the US it is substantial: about $360 a night on top of $2,564 at Four Seasons Hotel New York in November, about $483 on top of $2,368 at Maui at Wailea, about $135 on top of $939 at the Beverly Wilshire. It varies by rate, too: Chicago showed nothing to pay at the hotel on our November and New Year stays, then about $240 a night in March and $380 in July. Outside the US, Paris adds about $269–384 a night at the George V on our stays.

What Our Clients Actually Spend

Four Seasons is the brand our agents price most often: 60 price lookups across 37 different Four Seasons hotels since June 2026, more than any other brand. On the bookings themselves, typical spend per night with taxes in was a median of about $4,700 at the George V (four bookings, 25 nights, all in July and August), about $2,400 at Tokyo at Otemachi, and about $1,200 at both Seoul and the Beverly Wilshire. Those figures include taxes and whatever room each client chose, so they sit well above the entry rates on this page: the George V's cheapest midweek room was $2,853–2,886 in July and August on our calendar, Seoul's lowest rate $779–1,010 and the Beverly Wilshire's $904–1,051 across our test stays.

Lead times follow the trip. City stays (Seoul, the Beverly Wilshire) were typically booked within a week of arrival; resort and holiday stays months ahead (Cap-Ferrat about five months, Jackson Hole about four, Whistler about seven, a Tokyo cherry-blossom stay seven to eight). Our average Four Seasons stay is 4.1 nights, the longest of any brand we book.

How to Pay Less at Four Seasons

Pick the month. February is the cheapest month at the most hotels (23), then December (16) and August (12); May and June carry the highest brand medians ($930 and $911). At resorts the swing is large: Bora Bora cost $1,698 midweek in January and $4,617 in May.

Book through a Preferred Partner. The rate is the same as fourseasons.com, and the booking adds daily breakfast for two, a property credit of about $100 and upgrade priority. At the hotels where breakfast was expensive on our check (New York $260, Washington $247–325, Milano $545–859 a night), the breakfast alone is worth that much every night.

Decide on flexibility deliberately. Free cancellation cost a median 8–18% more, from 1% at Seoul to a third more at the Beverly Wilshire. Ask for both prices.

Read the room and the tax line. At 12 to 20 hotels per stay the cheapest thing left was a suite, so a "from" price can describe a room you would not have chosen; and in the US the checkout tax can add several hundred dollars a night. Plan resort and holiday trips months ahead, as our clients do; city stays can be booked close in.
