Five minutes by private launch from San Marco, and a world away: Venice's only true resort hotel.

Giuseppe Cipriani (of Harry's Bar) built his hotel on Giudecca island in 1958 precisely so it would have what no Venice palazzo can: gardens, space, and the lagoon's only Olympic-size heated pool. The private mahogany launch shuttles you to San Marco in five minutes, around the clock — you get Venice when you want it and silence when you don't. It is the flagship of Belmond's portfolio and the property LVMH is investing in most heavily: Peter Marino's phased reimagining brings a reworked Oro restaurant and Venice's first Dior Spa in spring 2026.
The season runs roughly April through October — the hotel closes each winter — and within it, rates swing hard: June and September peak around €2,300+ entry; April and late October dip toward €1,300.
Roughly April through October — it closes each winter. June and September are peak; April and late October offer the same hotel at 30–40% less.
In-season entry rooms run ~€1,300–2,300 a night by month; lagoon-view rooms and Vendramin suites climb from there. The pool, gardens and launch are included for all guests.
The Cipriani for the pool, gardens and resort rhythm; Aman Venice for sleeping inside a Tiepolo-frescoed palazzo on the Grand Canal. Honeymooners tend to the Cipriani; design pilgrims to Aman.
Same rate as belmond.com with breakfast, credit and upgrade priority attached — and the Orient-Express pairing arranged if you want the full production.
