Cheval Blanc Hotels: All 6 Maisons, Rates & How to Book

Cheval Blanc is LVMH's answer to a question nobody else could afford to ask: what if a hotel brand never had to compromise on anything? Developed by LVMH Hotel Management, it has opened six "maisons" in twenty years: Courchevel (2006), Randheli in the Maldives (2013), St-Barth (2014), St-Tropez (2019), the Paris flagship inside La Samaritaine (2021) and Cheval Blanc Seychelles (December 2024). None has more than 72 keys, and every spa is run with an LVMH house: Dior in Paris, Guerlain at the other five.

The food program alone justifies the brand. Six Cheval Blanc restaurants hold MICHELIN stars in the 2026 France guide, three of them the full three: Yannick Alléno's Le 1947 in Courchevel, and Arnaud Donckele's La Vague d'Or in St-Tropez and Plénitude in Paris. Michelin's 2026 Keys put four of the six maisons in its top tier, Forbes rates three of them Five-Star, and four hold France's Palace distinction. What comes next is less certain than it once looked: the brand says "soon Sardinia", where LVMH Hotel Management took over Hotel Pitrizza on the Costa Smeralda on 1 January 2024, but no Cheval Blanc opening date is confirmed, and there is no official announcement of a London maison.

Cheval Blanc by Our Numbers

On 1 October 2026 we priced the same stays at every Cheval Blanc maison through our own booking engine (the one behind hotels.biirdee.com) and set out to score the 100 most recent verified guest reviews at each one ourselves, as we do for every brand we cover. The test stays were 10–13 Nov 2026, 27–30 Dec 2026, 12–15 Mar 2027 and 15–18 Jul 2027, plus a two-night midweek stay in every month to October 2027. Rates are the lowest per night the engine charged at booking; taxes the hotel collects at checkout are extra. Live rates change daily: these were the rates on 1 October 2026.

Cheval Blanc beat half of that method. There is almost nothing to score (one review on our platform for Paris, two for Seychelles, none for the rest), and only one maison had rooms to sell. St-Barth is not on our engine at all, which is why the tables count five maisons rather than six. What we can measure is still telling: what Paris costs month by month and against its rivals, and where the other five simply do not sell online.

Reading the Numbers

The league table is a reminder of how unusual Cheval Blanc is. It and Aman are the two brands that sell too few rooms online to score or to compare on price, and the scarcity is part of the brand. On Forbes, half of the six maisons are Five-Star, the same share as Dorchester Collection and far ahead of Aman's 1 of 19 rated hotels. On price, Cheval Blanc Paris looks expensive against the brand medians ($2,231 in November, when the dearest median in the table was Dorchester Collection's $1,446), but that compares one Paris palace with whole portfolios. Against the other Paris palaces on the same dates it sat mid-pack: third-cheapest of six in November, fourth in March and July, and the dearest of the five with rooms over New Year, when only suites were left.

What the table cannot show is the five maisons with no rooms on our engine. "No rooms" means nothing was bookable through it, whether sold out, closed or simply not released to engines like ours, and for Cheval Blanc it is mostly the last. Courchevel had nothing even for dates inside its season (27–30 December and 12–15 March), St-Tropez nothing for mid-July, and Randheli, which is open all year, nothing in any month. Rooms at those maisons go through the maisons' own reservations teams and their partners, which is why how you book matters more here than at almost any other brand.

Only Paris Sells Online: What It Means for Booking

Paris is the exception that proves the rule. It is the one maison you can book like any other palace: it priced on all four test stays and in every month to October 2027, with 15 to 19 room types on ordinary dates, from the Deluxe Room up to the Seine, Eiffel and Notre Dame suites. If you want Cheval Blanc at short notice, or want to compare it rate for rate with the Ritz or the George V, Paris is where you can (our head-to-head with the Paris palaces has twelve months of it).

For the other five, availability lives with the maison's reservations team and its partners, and a dated request (maison, nights, room type, party size, flexibility) does more than any search. Plan around the seasons: Courchevel's 2026–27 season starts on 4 December, St-Tropez's each May and St-Barth's each October. When to Go

For a Paris palace the calendar is unusually flat: five months (February to May and September) bottomed out at the same $2,178, and November, December and August were barely higher ($2,226–2,231). The peaks are short and sharp: the third week of January ($3,877), mid-June ($4,065, the priciest month) and mid-October 2027 ($3,584). Christmas and New Year are a market of their own: for 27–30 December only four suite categories were left, from $4,038 a night. Cheval Blanc is a rare booking even for us. How to Book Cheval Blanc Well

With no program to join and no points to burn, the only lever is the channel you book through. Cheval Blanc participates in the major preferred-partner ecosystems, and a concierge booking arrives with daily breakfast, a spa or property credit (typically €100+ equivalent), upgrade priority and VIP flagging, at the same rate the maison's own site quotes. On four-figure nightly rates, that package quietly returns several hundred euros per stay.

Timing matters more here than at any brand this side of Aman. Courchevel opens on 4 December 2026 and runs to April; St-Tropez closes on 11 October 2026 and reopens in May; St-Barth runs October to August. Over New Year even Paris was down to suites only when we checked, three months out, and none of the six Maldives resorts we track against Randheli had anything bookable on our engine for 27–30 December.
