Cheval Blanc Hotels: All 6 Maisons, Rates & How to Book

LVMH's six-hotel statement: what happens when the world's largest luxury house builds hotels the way it builds couture.

By Biirdee Travel — Luxury Travel Concierge · Updated June 10, 2026

Cheval Blanc is LVMH's answer to a question nobody else could afford to ask: what if a hotel brand never had to compromise on anything? Six "maisons" in twenty years — Courchevel (2006), Randheli in the Maldives, St-Barth, St-Tropez, the Paris flagship inside La Samaritaine (2021), and the newest, Cheval Blanc Seychelles (December 2024). Each is small, design-obsessed, and stocked with the group's own houses: Dior Spas, Guerlain treatments, cellars that read like an LVMH annual report.

The food program alone justifies the brand: Arnaud Donckele's Plénitude in Paris and Yannick Alléno's Le 1947 in Courchevel both hold three Michelin stars. A seventh maison arrives with the Hotel Pitrizza rebrand on Sardinia's Costa Smeralda, and a Mayfair flagship is in the works for London.

Cheval Blanc in Brief

  • Six maisons as of June 2026: Paris, Courchevel, St-Tropez, St-Barth, Randheli (Maldives) and Seychelles — with Sardinia's Pitrizza rebrand and London announced.
  • Two of the six are seasonal: Courchevel runs winter only (roughly December–April), St-Tropez summer only (roughly May–October).
  • There is no loyalty program of any kind — no points, no club, nothing to join. LVMH runs no hotel loyalty scheme.
  • Entry rates start around US$2,000+ in Paris and €2,500+ in peak-season Courchevel — this is Aman-and-above territory.
  • The benefit channel is the booking: concierge and preferred-partner bookings add breakfast, spa or property credits and upgrade priority at the same rate as direct.

How to Book Cheval Blanc Well

With no program to join and no points to burn, the only lever is the channel you book through. Cheval Blanc participates in the major preferred-partner ecosystems, and a concierge booking arrives with daily breakfast, a spa or property credit (typically €100+ equivalent), upgrade priority and VIP flagging — at the same rate the maison's own site quotes. On four-figure nightly rates, that package quietly returns several hundred euros per stay.

Timing matters more here than at any brand this side of Aman: Courchevel's festive fortnight and St-Barth's December book out nearly a year ahead, while St-Tropez's June and September shoulder weeks are the connoisseur's play. For the Maldives comparison shoppers: Randheli vs. the Aman alternative is a genuine toss-up — Randheli wins on design and dining, Amanpulo-class rivals on remoteness.

Cheval Blanc FAQs

How many Cheval Blanc hotels are there?

Six open maisons: Paris, Courchevel, St-Tropez, St-Barth, Randheli (Maldives) and Seychelles. A seventh — the former Hotel Pitrizza on Sardinia's Costa Smeralda — joins via rebrand, and Cheval Blanc London is in development in Mayfair.

Does Cheval Blanc have a loyalty program?

No — nothing exists to join. LVMH operates no hotel points scheme for Cheval Blanc or Belmond. The practical substitute is booking through a preferred-partner concierge: same rate, with breakfast, credits and upgrade priority attached.

Which Cheval Blanc is the best?

Paris is the flagship and the safest superlative — Plénitude alone is worth the trip. Randheli is the great escape; Courchevel the definitive ski palace; St-Barth the hardest reservation of the six.

Are Cheval Blanc hotels open year-round?

Four are. Courchevel runs winters only (December–April) and St-Tropez summers only (May–October) — both sell out their short seasons far in advance.
