Silver Endeavour

Silversea Cruises

An ice-class expedition ship with Silversea manners, carrying 200 guests to the polar regions.

Where Silver Cloud and Silver Wind were converted for the ice, Silver Endeavour arrived built for it. The ice-class expedition ship entered Silversea service in 2021 at around 20,449 tons for just 200 guests — a ratio set by operational logic that pays out in comfort. Polar water is the entire brief: Antarctica in the austral summer, the Arctic and Greenland in the northern one.

The service model does not thin out at high latitude. Every suite keeps its butler, the fare keeps its all-inclusive shape, and the days alternate between expedition operations off the ship and unapologetic comfort back aboard.

Silver Endeavour Highlights

Built for Ice, Not Adapted

Endeavour is an ice-class expedition ship through and through, which shows in how confidently she works the coastlines other vessels admire from a distance.

The Ratio That Matters

Around 20,449 tons spread over 200 guests buys the two currencies of expedition travel: fast, small landing groups ashore and genuine space back on board.

A Two-Pole Year

Antarctica anchors one end of her calendar, the Arctic and Greenland the other — she follows the polar summers, and temperate seas barely feature.

Where Silver Endeavour Typically Sails

Silver Endeavour: FAQs

Is Silver Endeavour a real expedition ship?

Yes — ice-class built, expedition-equipped and deployed accordingly, with Antarctica and the Arctic making up her working year. The difference from a typical expedition vessel is everything around the expedition: butler-served suites and an all-inclusive fare.

How many passengers does Silver Endeavour take?

She carries 200 guests at double occupancy — kept low because polar landings work in small groups, and fewer guests means more rotations ashore. It is among the strongest practical arguments for her.

Silver Endeavour, Cloud or Wind — which for Antarctica?

All three sail the polar seasons; Endeavour is the ship built for the job rather than converted to it, and the newest of the trio. Cloud and Wind counter with classic-fleet charm and, in Wind’s case, temperate seasons too. If the ice is the whole point, Endeavour is the direct answer.
