ANA The Suite First Class (2026): Every Route, The Suite vs The Room, and the Miles That Book It

The Short Answer

The Suite is ANA's closing-door first class, and it flies on the 777-300ER: the desk library's September 2026 count is about 10 of ANA's 13 777-300ERs, each carrying The Suite in first and The Room in business. The routes the desk treats as safe are New York JFK and London, which our schedule data shows ANA flying from Tokyo Haneda. Chicago and San Francisco alternate between The Suite aircraft and others, so the same flight number can carry The Suite one week and a different cabin the next.

For a US traveler that means three American gateways: Chicago, New York JFK and San Francisco. Book New York JFK when The Suite is the point of the trip; treat Chicago and San Francisco as a check-the-aircraft booking. ANA's A380s, which fly to Honolulu, carry their own first class, which is not The Suite.

On miles, The Suite is where ANA Mileage Club shines, and the desk library counts the program among the cheapest ways into Japan premium cabins: its reference prices The Suite at 75,000 miles one-way in low season and 85,000 in regular season, plus a fuel surcharge of about ¥55,000 (roughly $370) per US or Europe sector in the September to October 2026 band. The catch is that ANA Mileage Club awards may only be used by the member and relatives within two degrees of kinship.

Every ANA The Suite Route

The desk library's 777-300ER routes for The Suite, pinned to the airports ANA flies in our schedule data, checked between 28 August and 1 September 2026, plus the Honolulu A380 route where our desk has ticketed ANA's other first class.

The Suite vs The Room

The Suite and The Room fly on the same 777-300ERs: The Room is ANA's business class on the same aircraft, so the step up is about space, privacy and a smaller cabin rather than a different kind of flight. On ANA Mileage Club's own-metal chart, The Room costs 50,000 miles one-way in low season and The Suite 75,000, a 25,000-mile step for the same flight; in high season the gap widens to 165,000 versus 300,000 round trip. One practical difference: The Room is spreading and The Suite is not. The desk library notes "The Room FX" on ANA's 787-9s from August 2026, while most other 787 long-hauls still fly ANA's older staggered business. The Suite stays a 777-300ER product.

Booking The Suite With Miles

ANA Mileage Club is the direct door, with two fixed published charts and no dynamic pricing, and one-way awards at exactly half the round-trip price since June 2025. The desk's rules of thumb: Amex Membership Rewards is the only US bank that transfers to ANA (1:1, officially 24–48 hours and commonly one to three days), ANA holds nothing while points are in transit, and miles expire 36 months after they are earned with no activity extension. Never start a transfer against space that has to survive for days.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club is the other door, and the one most clients can reach: every major US bank currency transfers to Virgin 1:1, usually instantly. Virgin prices ANA first from a fixed zone chart (72,500 one-way from the West Coast, 85,000 from the East Coast and Europe, 57,500 from Hawaii), books it by phone, and the desk's process is to verify ANA space with a Star Alliance search first, then call. Two cautions from the desk library: a further increase to ANA first class pricing was reported for late 2025, so verify the chart; and 2025 reports suggest ANA premium awards become unbookable through Virgin inside about 14 days of departure.

Partner programs can see ANA first as well: all 4 of the ANA first class awards our desk ticketed were booked with Lufthansa Miles & More, on the Chicago and Honolulu routes. When partner space appears, move quickly.

The Traps We Steer Clients Around

The alternating aircraft. On Chicago and San Francisco the desk library says the Suite-equipped 777-300ER alternates with other aircraft; the seat map is the check. Book New York JFK when The Suite is the point of the trip, and check it again before departure there too.

The Haneda terminal split. ANA's international flights at Haneda use both Terminal 2 and Terminal 3, the terminal is fixed only about two days out, and a Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 connection means a shuttle bus and re-clearing security. Partner and codeshare flights use Terminal 3. Haneda is still the right default for premium clients: 14 km from central Tokyo, against about 60 for Narita.

The kinship rule. ANA Mileage Club awards are for the member and relatives within two degrees of kinship (same-sex partners included), never friends or unrelated travelers. A ticket booked for anyone else is unusable. Virgin Atlantic points carry no such rule.

Where These Numbers Come From

Every route in these tables is checked against the schedule snapshot behind our route pages, so a route appears only if the airline flies it; distance and flight time are the same estimates those pages use. The evidence column says how we know first class is on it: "Desk library" is Biirdee's own carrier and aircraft reference, updated September 2026; "Ticketed by Biirdee" means our desk has issued first class tickets on that airline there between November 2024 and September 2026; "Award scan" means our award scanners have seen first class seats released on it; "Fare scan" means our fare scans have priced a first class fare on the nonstop.
