Which US Cities Have International First Class? Every Route by City and by Airline (2026)

The Short Answer

In our data, 15 US airports have international first class, meaning our desk library, our tickets or our scans show a first class cabin on a flight the airline schedules from there. Los Angeles has the most choice, with nine first class products, followed by New York JFK (eight) and San Francisco (seven).

By airline, British Airways First reaches the most US cities (eleven), and Etihad First Apartment has no US route at all, so the first class there starts with a connection. Every city on our clients' list of top first class departure points since October 2024 (Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Dallas/Fort Worth, Honolulu, San Diego, Seattle, Miami) has at least one.

Where First Class to the US Starts, by Region

Every airline flying first class to the US in our data, grouped by where its flights start. A route counts for the region of its non-US end, so Singapore Airlines' Frankfurt–New York JFK sector sits under Europe.

US Cities for Each First Class

The US airports for each first class product where our desk library, tickets or scans show first class, and the other US airports the airline serves from its hubs, where our data shows no first class (on some, the desk library confirms there is none).

How to Use This

Find your city first. If it has the first class you want, the linked guide lists the route, the aircraft and the traps. If it does not, the nearest city on the list is usually a short positioning flight away, and a desk can often price the positioning flight and the long-haul first class as one trip.

The seven airports with the most first class have their own pages, with every airline grouped by where it flies, the caveats, and the fares and award prices we hold: Los Angeles, New York JFK, San Francisco, Miami, Boston, Chicago and Dallas/Fort Worth.

Then check the product, not just the airline. Several airlines on this list sell two different first classes: ANA's The Suite and its A380 first class, Lufthansa's Allegris First and its earlier cabin, SWISS Senses First and the older SWISS First, and British Airways' A380 cabins before and after the retrofit. The city tables above show which one flies from where; each airline's guide shows which aircraft carries it.

Where These Numbers Come From

Every route in these tables is checked against the schedule snapshot behind our route pages, so a route appears only if the airline flies it; distance and flight time are the same estimates those pages use. The evidence column says how we know first class is on it: "Desk library" is Biirdee's own carrier and aircraft reference, updated September 2026; "Ticketed by Biirdee" means our desk has issued first class tickets on that airline there between November 2024 and September 2026; "Award scan" means our award scanners have seen first class seats released on it; "Fare scan" means our fare scans have priced a first class fare on the nonstop. Data as of 23 September 2026.

"In our data" means at least one of: Biirdee's desk library lists first class on the route, our desk issued a first class ticket on the airline there (221 first class tickets across these airlines between November 2024 and September 2026), our award scanners saw first class seats, or our fare scans priced a first class fare. Fifth-freedom flights, such as a sector between two foreign cities that continues to the US, count for the US city they serve.
