Singapore Airlines Suites and First Class (2026): Every Route, Suites vs Business, and How to Book It
Nine A380 routes out of Singapore, none of them nonstop from the US: where Suites actually flies, how it compares with Singapore's business class, and what our own award scans say it costs in miles.

The Short Answer
Singapore Airlines sells Suites, its closing-door first class with a bed separate from the seat, on the A380, and in 2026 the A380 flies 9 routes from Singapore: London Heathrow and Sydney twice daily, plus Melbourne, Frankfurt, Auckland, Mumbai, Delhi, Shanghai and Tokyo Narita. That list comes from Biirdee's desk reference library, and every route on it is confirmed against the schedule data behind our route pages. None of them touches the United States.
From the US, two first class doors exist in our data. Singapore flies New York JFK to Frankfurt, and in September 2026 our award scanner recorded first class seats on New York–Singapore via Frankfurt at 279,500 KrisFlyer miles one-way. Singapore also sells first class on its Los Angeles–Tokyo flight, which the same scans priced at 224,500 miles. Its nonstops to Singapore from Newark, New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle are not Suites routes in the desk library, and on the ones our scanner tracks it has recorded business class seats, not first.
The cabin is worth knowing before you book: the desk's September 2026 note is that Singapore has no new seat until 2027, when an all-new first and business product debuts on retrofitted A350s (business first, in the first quarter of 2027; first class later). The A380 Suites you book today is the current product, and the one to fly.

How to Fly Singapore Suites From the US
Our schedule data shows Singapore flying nonstop to Singapore from Newark, New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, and none of those appears in the desk library's Suites list. So there are three ways into the cabin from the US. The first is New York JFK to Frankfurt on Singapore's own flight, connecting to Frankfurt–Singapore, a Suites route; it is the one US departure where our award scans have recorded Singapore first class all the way to Singapore. The second is Los Angeles to Tokyo Narita, a first class sector in our scans, which connects to the Narita Suites route. The third is positioning: fly business to London, Frankfurt or Tokyo on any airline and board Suites there.
The positioning play is how most US clients should think about Suites. Singapore–London is the flagship, flown twice a day, and London is reachable nonstop from dozens of US cities; Frankfurt and Tokyo work the same way. If the point of the trip is Singapore itself, remember the nonstops: business class on a US nonstop gets you there faster, and Suites on a later sector, such as Singapore to Sydney or Melbourne, can be the part of the journey you do in first.

What Suites Costs in KrisFlyer Miles
Suites and Singapore first class are KrisFlyer products first and foremost; our KrisFlyer guide covers why partner programs rarely see the space. KrisFlyer then prices Singapore-operated flights in three ways, and Singapore Airlines' own FAQ lays out the difference: Saver and Advantage awards are fixed prices from the award chart, drawn from an allocated inventory and waitlistable; Access, introduced on 1 November 2025, prices seats "over and above" the award allocation by demand, confirms immediately and cannot be waitlisted. What that looks like in practice: in September 2026 our scanner recorded Singapore first class at 224,500 miles one-way on Los Angeles–Tokyo and 279,500 on New York–Singapore via Frankfurt, and it saw the Tokyo–Los Angeles seat at 449,000 miles on another date. The same scans priced business at 147,500 on Los Angeles–Tokyo and 247,500 on the New York nonstop. Those are the prices the scanner saw, not the chart's floor; when Saver seats are released, the chart price is what you pay, and Saver seats on Suites are exactly the ones that go first.
Two program rules matter for Suites specifically. Singapore's redemption terms say a Suites or first class redemption on a flight without that cabin is seated in business, so always price the A380 flight number. And since the 1 November 2025 rate adjustment, Singapore says Saver awards to and from Europe and the US rose about 5% and Advantage awards 10 to 15%, so any rate you remember from before that date is out of date.
The Traps We Steer Clients Around
The aircraft is the product. Suites is an A380 cabin, and the desk's rule is to book the A380 flight number and check it again before departure, because Singapore sells Suites and first class only on selected flights and an equipment change keeps the route, not the cabin.
Do not wait for the new seat. The all-new Singapore first class is a retrofitted-A350 product that follows the business class debut in early 2027, per the desk library; clients who hold out for it in 2026 simply fly business instead.
Changi connections have their own rules. The desk's September 2026 notes: the first class complex with The Private Room is in Terminal 3, a new first class SilverKris Lounge opened in Terminal 2 in November 2025, airside transit hotels book in six-hour blocks, and Jewel is landside, so a tight connection should never include it.
Where These Numbers Come From
Every route in these tables is checked against the schedule snapshot behind our route pages, so a route appears only if the airline flies it; distance and flight time are the same estimates those pages use. The evidence column says how we know first class is on it: "Desk library" is Biirdee's own carrier and aircraft reference, updated September 2026; "Ticketed by Biirdee" means our desk has issued first class tickets on that airline there between November 2024 and September 2026; "Award scan" means our award scanners have seen first class seats released on it; "Fare scan" means our fare scans have priced a first class fare on the nonstop.
