Dubai is the second most requested first class destination at our desk. Here is every first class route there from the US, what it costs in cash and points, and when a stop in Europe makes sense.

The Short Answer
Emirates is the first class nonstop from the US to Dubai. It flies there from twelve US airports in our schedule data, and on nine of those routes our own tickets or scans show first class: Boston, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK, San Francisco and Washington Dulles. Emirates' Newark service via Athens carries first class too: our desk has ticketed it on the Athens sector.
The aircraft is the product. The A380 carries the Emirates first class with the shower spa and the bar, and the desk library calls it the reliable Emirates product; the fully enclosed "Game Changer" suites fly on only about nine 777s, and the new A350s carry no first class at all. Book the A380 and check it again before departure.
On price, our fare scans put Emirates First at $18,840 round trip from New York JFK and $26,895 from Los Angeles, and our Qantas award scanner saw Dubai–Boston first class seats on 54 departure dates at 205,000 points one-way in a single week of September 2026.

Reading the Fares
The gap over business depends on the route: Emirates First scanned at 1.7x business from New York JFK but 3.2x from Los Angeles. A Dubai–Chicago first class trip scanned at $17,333 round trip, and from Europe the numbers drop sharply: Paris–Dubai first class scanned at $10,060 on Emirates and $11,518 on Air France for the same October 2026 travel date. That is the arithmetic behind the one-stop trip: Europe to Dubai in first costs a fraction of the US nonstop.

How the Desk Decides
From a US city with an Emirates A380, book it nonstop. Our desk tickets Emirates First more than any other first class in this library: 64 tickets between November 2024 and September 2026, 38 for cash and 26 on miles or points. Skywards is the home program (Amex transfers at 5:4, Capital One at 2:1.5), and Skywards business-to-first upgrades are a core move, priced by the fare you bought.
From a city without first class to Dubai, or when a stop in Europe suits the trip anyway, fly to Europe and continue in first: Air France, British Airways and SWISS all sell first class to Dubai in our data, alongside Emirates' own European routes.
Going to Abu Dhabi or Doha instead? Etihad's First Apartment does not fly from the US, and Qatar's first class is limited to its A380s and a few 777s. Our Gulf comparison covers both.
Dubai on the Ground
Emirates publishes a 75-minute minimum connection within Terminal 3, but the desk sells two hours or more in the midnight-to-3am bank, allows 90 minutes between Terminals 1 and 3, and three to four hours for Terminal 2, which has no airside link. Two Emirates lounges closed for refurbishment in 2026 (the Concourse C first class lounge and the Concourse B business lounge), so check which one you will use. On an 8 to 24 hour Emirates connection, Dubai Connect gives a free hotel.

Every route in these tables is checked against the schedule snapshot behind our route pages, so a route appears only if the airline flies it; distance and flight time are the same estimates those pages use. The evidence column says how we know first class is on it: "Desk library" is Biirdee's own carrier and aircraft reference, updated September 2026; "Ticketed by Biirdee" means our desk has issued first class tickets on that airline there between November 2024 and September 2026; "Award scan" means our award scanners have seen first class seats released on it; "Fare scan" means our fare scans have priced a first class fare on the nonstop.
