How to Book Cheval Blanc: Channels, Seasons and Perks
Five of the six maisons barely sell online. Here is how rooms are actually secured, and when.

Cheval Blanc is easy to admire and hard to book. Five of the six maisons do not sell through engines like ours, two open for a single season and a third closes for part of every year, and there is no loyalty program to smooth the way. This guide is built on what we saw when we priced every maison through our own booking engine (the one behind hotels.biirdee.com) on 1 October 2026, on four test stays (10–13 Nov 2026, 27–30 Dec 2026, 12–15 Mar 2027 and 15–18 Jul 2027) and a two-night midweek stay in every month to October 2027, and on the season dates Cheval Blanc publishes. We also set out to score the 100 most recent verified guest reviews at each maison ourselves; none has enough online reviews to score. Rates are the lowest per night the engine charged at booking, with taxes the hotel collects at checkout extra; live rates change daily, so read them as the rates on 1 October 2026.

How to Book Cheval Blanc in Brief
- Only Cheval Blanc Paris sells through our booking engine: it priced on every date we tried, with 15 to 19 room types on ordinary dates.
- Courchevel, St-Tropez, Randheli and Seychelles showed no rooms on our engine on any date over 12 months, and St-Barth is not on it at all. They are booked through the maisons' own reservations teams and travel partners.
- The seasons set the calendar: Courchevel December to April (opens 4 December 2026), St-Tropez May to October (closes 11 October 2026), St-Barth October to August; Randheli is open year-round.
- New Year sells deepest: for 27–30 December 2026 Paris was down to four suite categories from $4,038 a night, and none of the six Maldives resorts we track against Randheli had anything bookable on our engine.
- In Paris the cheapest rate always included breakfast but was non-refundable every time; flexibility cost $188–398 a night more.
- There are no points to earn either way, so the channel is the benefit: a partner booking is typically made at the maison's own rate with perks attached.

What a Partner Booking Adds
Cheval Blanc has no loyalty program: no points, no club, nothing to join, so the booking channel is the only benefit lever. A partner or concierge booking is typically made at the rate the maison itself quotes and arrives with perks such as a hotel credit, upgrade priority and VIP recognition. At Paris, where our engine's cheapest rate already included breakfast for two, the credit and the upgrade are the real gain. At the seasonal maisons the bigger value is access: someone who can put a dated request in front of the reservations team and follow it up.
Why Our Engine Showed No Rooms at Five Maisons
When we priced every maison on 1 October 2026, Courchevel, St-Tropez, Randheli and Seychelles returned nothing on any of our four test stays or in any month to October 2027, and St-Barth is not on our engine at all. Part of that is the calendar: Courchevel is closed in November and July, and St-Tropez from 11 October until it reopens in May. But only part. Courchevel had nothing for 27–30 December or 12–15 March, both inside its season; St-Tropez had nothing for 15–18 July, the heart of its summer; and Randheli, which is open year-round, had nothing in any month.
The rest is how Cheval Blanc sells. These maisons go through their own reservations teams and travel partners rather than online engines, and the seasonal ones have a few months to fill a small number of keys (36 at Courchevel, 30 at St-Tropez). So read "no rooms" online as "ask", not "full". Aman works the same way: only 4 of the 31 Amans we track could be priced on our engine (see Cheval Blanc vs Aman).
When to Book Each Maison

The Paris Exception
Cheval Blanc Paris is the one maison you can book like any other palace. It priced on all four test stays and in every month to October 2027, from the Deluxe Room up to the Seine, Eiffel and Notre Dame suites. Three details matter when you book it. The cheapest rate already included breakfast for two every time, so do not pay for it again. Every cheapest rate was non-refundable, and the cheapest refundable rate cost $188–398 a night more. And the hotel collects taxes of about $247–418 a night at checkout, on top of the rate.

Practical Timing
Three rules of thumb from our checks. First, the festive fortnight is a different market: three months out, Paris was down to suites for 27–30 December and none of the six Maldives resorts we track had anything bookable on our engine. If you want Christmas or New Year at any maison, ask first and plan the rest of the trip around the answer.
Second, price peaks are short. In Paris the third week of January, mid-June and mid-October cost $3,584–4,065 a night while five months sat at $2,178, so moving a trip by a few weeks can be worth more than any perk. Third, for Courchevel and St-Tropez the season is the deadline: stays for the 2026–27 winter start on 4 December, and St-Tropez's 2026 season ends on 11 October.

Can I book Cheval Blanc online?
Paris, yes: it sold rooms through our engine on every date we checked. The other five, rarely: Courchevel, St-Tropez, Randheli and Seychelles showed no rooms on our engine on any date over 12 months, and St-Barth is not on it at all. Book those through the maison's reservations team or an advisor who can request your dates.
When does Cheval Blanc Courchevel open for the 2026–27 season?
On 4 December 2026. The maison opens every winter from December to early spring; we could not confirm its 2027 closing date, so check before you fix April dates.
When does Cheval Blanc St-Tropez close?
Its 2026 season closes on 11 October. The maison runs May to October; we could not confirm the 2027 reopening date, so check before you fix May dates.
Is Cheval Blanc St-Barth open all year?
No. It runs October to August, with an annual break in between. We could not confirm the date it reopens in autumn 2026, so check before you fix October dates.
Is Cheval Blanc Randheli open year-round?
Yes, according to the maison's own press kit. It still had no rooms on our booking engine in any month, because it sells through its own reservations team and partners; ask with dates.
How far ahead should I book Cheval Blanc?
Our advice from the checks, not a published rule: for Paris, weeks ahead for most dates and months ahead for New Year, mid-June and the third week of January, when rates peaked. For the seasonal maisons and Randheli, as soon as your dates are set, because their rooms are not released to online engines; ask about the festive weeks first.
