Cheval Blanc Seychelles: Villas, Rival Rates and How to Book

Cheval Blanc Seychelles is the sixth and newest maison, opened on 1 December 2024 on Anse Intendance, on Mahé's southern coast, 30 minutes by car from the international airport. Jean-Michel Gathy designed its 52 villas, 24 on the beach and 28 in the hills, from 220 to 620 m² and each with its own pool, and Joël Andrianomearisoa and Prune Nourry made the art. Five restaurants, a spa made to measure by Guerlain and a 1,500 m² Le Carrousel with a water park complete the house.

Forbes rated it for the first time in 2026, as Recommended, and the MICHELIN Keys gave it Two Keys. It has only two reviews on our platform, too few for a guest score, and on 1 October 2026 our engine showed no villas on any test stay or in any month through October 2027. The two Four Seasons resorts it competes with did sell through our engine, so we priced them month by month: that is the clearest evidence we have of what this tier of the Seychelles costs, and when. The Villas

The opening release counts 52 villas, 24 on the beach and 28 in the hills, from 220 to 620 m², each with its own pool; the brochure gives pool lengths of 13 to 25 m and adds the Villa Horizon, two bedrooms over 700 m². The MICHELIN Keys listing counts the same 52. Jean-Michel Gathy, who also designed Cheval Blanc Randheli, is the architect, and the art is by Joël Andrianomearisoa and Prune Nourry.

Five Restaurants

Le 1947, the French gastronomic room, opens on Wednesdays and Sundays; the others are Le White, Vivamento for Italian, Sula, the beach club, and Mizumi for Japanese, with La Table de Partage and Carte Blanche in-villa dining on top. The Seychelles has no MICHELIN restaurant guide, so unlike Cheval Blanc Courchevel and Cheval Blanc Paris, none of this carries stars.

Spa and Families

The Spa Cheval Blanc was, in the maison's words, "created to measure" by Guerlain, and has eight rooms. Le Carrousel, the kids' club, is a 1,500 m² play space with a water park, and the beach and hillside villas, from 220 m², give families room to spread out.

Cheval Blanc Seychelles by Our Numbers

On 1 October 2026 we priced the same stays at every hotel through our own booking engine (the one behind hotels.biirdee.com) and scored the 100 most recent verified guest reviews at each hotel ourselves. The test stays were 10–13 Nov 2026, 27–30 Dec 2026, 12–15 Mar 2027 and 15–18 Jul 2027, and a 12-month calendar priced the same two-night midweek stay (Tuesday to Thursday of the third week) in every month from November 2026 to October 2027. Rates are the lowest per night the engine charges at booking; taxes the resort collects at checkout are extra, and live rates change daily, so these are the rates of 1 October 2026.

The maison returned no villas on any test stay and none in any month. It has only two reviews on our platform, both from 2025, too few to score. Our reading: like the other island maisons, it sells through its own reservations team and partners. Four Seasons Resort Seychelles, on Mahé at Baie Lazare, and Four Seasons Resort Seychelles at Desroches Island did sell through our engine, so they are our benchmark.

One disclosure: our agents have priced Cheval Blanc only twice, and our booking records (stays from November 2024 to April 2027) show no Cheval Blanc bookings, so this page reports engine checks and published facts, not booking anecdotes.

What the Seychelles Numbers Say

Four Seasons Resort Seychelles is the like-for-like rival on Mahé, and guests rate it well: 9.37 out of 10 across its 100 most recent reviews, 88% scoring 9 or more, which puts it 16th of the 72 Four Seasons hotels we could rank. Couples wrote 62% of those reviews and families 27%; the beach came up in 59% of written reviews and food in 56%, both averaging above 9.3. Its calendar barely moves, from $2,172 a night in June to $2,951 in March, and breakfast was included in the lowest rate on all three test stays it priced.

Four Seasons Desroches Island is the lower-priced of the pair: $1,217 a night room only for our July stay ($1,338 with breakfast), and between $1,427 and $2,104 across the year. It scores 9.50, though its review window reaches back to 2019. Both resorts were priciest in March and cheapest in June, both had nothing for 27–30 December, and both were blank in the third week of October 2027.

How a Villa Is Actually Secured

With nothing on our engine, a stay starts as a request: the dates, beach or hillside villa (or the Villa Horizon) and the party size go to the maison's reservations team, directly or through a travel advisor, and the maison confirms availability, its rate and its terms. When to Go and When to Book

We could not verify a seasonal closure for the maison, so the guide here is its rivals' year: on both Four Seasons calendars, June was the lowest-priced month and March the priciest, and neither had a villa for 27–30 December. Our advice: if you can travel in June, that is where this tier of the Seychelles priced lowest on our engine; for festive dates, ask early.
