A flat bed into Jorge Chávez, and the Andes a short hop beyond it.
Business class flights to Lima land at Jorge Chávez International (LIM) in Callao, a short run from the centre and typically 45 minutes to an hour to Miraflores or San Isidro once traffic is factored in; the airport opened a much larger replacement terminal in 2025. From the United States the trip is nonstop, and most departures are late in the day — several arrive overnight: American and LATAM from Miami in about 6h, United from Houston in about 7h, Delta and LATAM from Atlanta in about 7h, LATAM from New York JFK in about 8h and from Los Angeles in about 9h, where LATAM Chile operates alongside the Peruvian carrier.
From Europe it is a twelve-to-thirteen-and-a-half-hour day flight southbound, with the overnight on the return. Iberia, Air Europa, LATAM and Plus Ultra all fly Madrid nonstop in about 12h, Air France from Paris in about 13h and KLM from Amsterdam in about 13h30m. Level flies Barcelona nonstop in about 12h30m, though its front cabin is a premium recliner rather than a business class. There is no London nonstop in the schedules we work with, so from the UK the trip is one stop — via Madrid, Amsterdam or Paris on a European carrier, or via Miami, Atlanta or Houston on the US airlines.
Closer in, Lima is one of LATAM’s main hubs and the group’s northern anchor in South America, and the short legs are the useful ones: about 4h30m from Buenos Aires, 5h from São Paulo, 6h from Mexico City on Aeroméxico or LATAM, and about 8h from Toronto, where Air Canada flies seasonally. Sky Airline, JetSmart and Volaris fly several of those same routes as low-cost carriers, without a business cabin. We quote published business class fares honestly on this page and then source below them.

Lima’s home carrier and the reason the route map looks like this: nonstop from Miami (about 6h), Atlanta (about 7h), New York JFK (about 8h), Los Angeles (about 9h, shared with LATAM Chile), Madrid (about 12h), São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Mexico City. The 787s and 777s carry a lie-flat Premium Business seat, though much of the fleet is still laid out two-two-two rather than with direct aisle access from every seat; the narrowbodies on the short South American hops sell a blocked-middle recliner instead, so check the aircraft before you pay a business fare.
Nonstop from Miami in about six hours, the busiest premium link between the U.S. and Peru. American flies the route with widebody equipment and its lie-flat Flagship Business cabin, though seat generations differ across the fleet — check the seat map for your date.
Delta One from Atlanta in about seven hours, overnight southbound, with joint-venture connections on LATAM beyond Lima. Delta keeps the Lima cabin thin on frequency, so discounted business buckets tend to clear well before departure.
Nonstop from Houston in about seven hours, with the lie-flat Polaris cabin when the widebody is assigned — confirm the aircraft for your date, since United rotates equipment on its South America flying. Houston is United’s only Lima nonstop among the gateways we track; from the rest of its network the trip is one stop through IAH.
Madrid to Lima in about 12h, the busiest European gateway into Peru, and the usual feed for UK and continental itineraries. Fully flat business with direct aisle access on the A330s and A350s, though cabin generations differ across the fleet — the newer A350 seat is the one to aim for.
Paris CDG to Lima in roughly thirteen hours, a daytime run southbound and an overnight home, on widebody equipment with a fully flat business seat and direct aisle access. The CDG connection bank makes it a practical routing from much of northern Europe.
Amsterdam to Lima in about 13h30m in World Business Class, fully flat. Schiphol’s single-terminal layout makes it an easy connection for this route; the cabin itself is competent rather than remarkable.
Seasonal nonstop from Toronto in about 8h in Signature Class, lie-flat when the widebody is assigned, so check the operating dates before you build a trip around it. Air Transat also serves Toronto–Lima, but check its operating season too, and note its Club cabin is a wide recliner rather than a flat bed.

Lima runs on two calendars, and the one that moves fares is not its own. The city’s summer, December through March, is the sunny stretch on the coast, but the country’s high season is the Andean dry season from May to September, when Cusco, the Sacred Valley and the Inca Trail are at their best and most inbound long-haul seats are already spoken for. June, July and August are the peak: Inti Raymi in Cusco on 24 June, Fiestas Patrias on 28 and 29 July filling every domestic flight, and northern-hemisphere school holidays layered on top.
The soft months are February through April and October through November. Lima spends roughly May to November under garúa, the coastal fog that greys the city out — a real drawback if Lima is the whole trip, irrelevant if you are transiting to the Andes, and reliably cheaper either way. Semana Santa is the one shoulder-season exception: Holy Thursday and Good Friday are national holidays and fares firm up for about ten days around them.
Book three to five months ahead for June through August and for the mid-December to early-January window; six to ten weeks is usually enough the rest of the year. The business cabins serving Lima are small — roughly twenty to forty seats on the widebodies flying in — so discounted inventory disappears well before the published fare moves. Nearly every long-haul rotation is an overnight in at least one direction, midweek departures price below weekends on most gateways, and if your dates are fixed, send us the routing and we will come back with a quote within the hour on WhatsApp.

As of September 2026, published round trips run roughly $2,000–$4,200 from Miami and the U.S. Southeast, $2,400–$5,000 from New York, $2,800–$6,000 from the West Coast, €2,600–€5,400 from Madrid, Paris or Amsterdam, and £2,300–£4,800 from London with one stop. Biirdee’s negotiated and unpublished fares typically price below those ranges.
From North America: American from Miami, Delta from Atlanta, United from Houston, LATAM from Miami, Atlanta, New York JFK and Los Angeles, and Air Canada seasonally from Toronto. From Europe: Iberia, Air Europa, LATAM and Plus Ultra from Madrid, Air France from Paris and KLM from Amsterdam. Plus Ultra’s business cabin is an older, non-flat product, so treat it as the budget option rather than a peer of the others. Within Latin America, LATAM flies from São Paulo, Buenos Aires and Mexico City, where Aeroméxico also operates — its Clase Premier on this route is a recliner rather than a flat bed. Level flies Barcelona nonstop, but its front cabin is a recliner Premium seat rather than a lie-flat business class, and Sky Airline, JetSmart and Volaris fly several of these routes as low-cost carriers, without a business cabin.
Not nonstop — there is no London–Lima nonstop in the schedules we work with, so the trip is one stop. The quickest routings are Madrid on Iberia, Air Europa or LATAM, Amsterdam on KLM, or Paris on Air France, each about twelve to thirteen and a half hours on the second leg. Connecting through Miami, Atlanta or Houston on American, Delta or United works too and sometimes prices lower.
Nonstop it is about 6h from Miami, 7h from Houston, 7h from Atlanta, 8h from New York JFK and 9h from Los Angeles. From Europe: about 12h from Madrid, 12h30m from Barcelona, 13h from Paris and 13h30m from Amsterdam. Within South America it is about 4h30m from Buenos Aires and 5h from São Paulo. London is one stop and runs roughly sixteen to eighteen hours end to end depending on the connection.
Yes. LATAM flies JFK to Lima nonstop in about 8h, overnight southbound, in its lie-flat Premium Business cabin. It is the only New York nonstop among the gateways we track, so the alternatives from the city are one-stops through Miami on American, Atlanta on Delta or Houston on United.
Start from Miami or Atlanta if you can — those short legs price well below the West Coast and European nonstops — travel in February through April or October and November, and depart midweek. Beyond that the saving is the fare type rather than the routing: we book negotiated and unpublished business class fares that are not on the public sites, routinely well under retail.
Yes — LATAM sells Lima–Cusco on the same booking as its long-haul flights, about an hour and a half in the air, and Sky Airline and JetSmart fly the route as well. Two things to plan for: the domestic leg is a narrowbody with a blocked-middle front cabin rather than a lie-flat seat, and morning departures are the reliable ones, since Cusco’s afternoon weather disrupts later flights. Leave at least three hours in Lima when you are connecting off an overnight arrival.
