Business Class Flights to Prague

Fares, airlines & the best time to book — PRG

Lie-flat to the city of a hundred spires — seasonal nonstops from North America, year-round wide-bodies from the Gulf and East Asia.

Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) is the Czech capital’s only commercial airport, about 17 km north-west of the Old Town and 30 to 45 minutes by car depending on traffic. Prague has no long-haul home carrier — Czech Airlines is gone, and Smartwings, the Czech leisure airline that took over its routes, still flies Paris, Madrid and, seasonally, Dubai, though its premium cabin is a narrow-body business seat rather than a lie-flat one — so business class into PRG means one of three things: a seasonal transatlantic nonstop, a wide-body from the Gulf or East Asia, or a short hop from a neighbouring European hub after a lie-flat long-haul leg.

From our North American gateways the nonstops are Delta from New York-JFK (about 8h30) and Air Canada from Toronto (about 8h40), both seasonal, and other U.S. cities pick up their own summer services from season to season — ask us for the dates you want. Outside the summer schedule, and from the U.S. West Coast and Chicago, the trip is normally one-stop via Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Paris or London, with an onward hop of under two hours. From further afield, Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad fly in from Dubai, Doha and Abu Dhabi in about 5h40 to 6h, usually on a wide-body and lie-flat on the Emirates and Etihad rotations, Turkish Airlines from Istanbul (about 2h20), Korean Air and Asiana from Seoul (about 10h30), Hainan Airlines from Beijing (about 9h35) and EgyptAir from Cairo (about 3h45).

Be clear-eyed about the intra-European leg: on a Lufthansa, British Airways or Air France flight into Prague, business class is a standard seat with the middle blocked, lounge access and priority handling. The lie-flat product is on the long-haul segment, which is where we concentrate the fare work. Biirdee’s sourced fares sit below the retail ranges listed on this page.

Airlines Flying Business Class to Prague

Delta

Seasonal nonstop from New York-JFK, about 8h30, with lie-flat Delta One on a 767; the cabin is small, so peak-summer dates are the first to price up.

Air Canada

Seasonal nonstop from Toronto, about 8h40, with lie-flat Signature Class on the wide-body assigned to the route; a sensible one-stop for U.S. West Coast travellers connecting at Pearson.

Lufthansa

Nonstop from Frankfurt (about 1h) and Munich (about 50 minutes), some Frankfurt rotations flown by Lufthansa’s Italian subsidiary Air Dolomiti; the broadest one-stop feed from the U.S. and Asia, with the lie-flat seat on the long-haul leg.

British Airways

Nonstop from Heathrow, about 1h45, in Club Europe; the natural connection off BA’s U.S. and Asian long-haul network, though the Prague leg itself is a short-haul seat.

Emirates

Nonstop from Dubai, about 6h, on a wide-body with lie-flat seats; the standard routing from Australia, India and Southeast Asia.

Qatar Airways

Nonstop from Doha, about 5h40, normally on a 787 with a lie-flat seat — not Qsuite, which this route does not carry — and a narrow-body on the extra weekly frequencies; often well priced from Asia and Africa.

Turkish Airlines

Nonstop from Istanbul, about 2h20, on a narrow-body with a short-haul business seat and strong catering; often among the better-priced business fares into Prague from Asia, the Gulf and Africa.

Korean Air

Nonstop from Seoul, about 10h30 — the longest of the nonstops from our gateway cities — with lie-flat Prestige seats on most departures; Asiana flies the same route for now, though it is being absorbed into Korean Air, so confirm the operating carrier, cabin and loyalty terms close to departure.

Best Time to Book Business Class to Prague

Prague is a leisure city, so demand peaks with holidays rather than the working week: June through August, the Advent and Christmas-market season from late November through New Year’s, and Easter week. The seasonal transatlantic nonstops run on the summer schedule only — roughly May to early October — and carry the tightest business cabins into Prague, so book those three to four months ahead for peak dates. Outside the peaks, one-stop itineraries via Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna or Amsterdam have plenty of business seats and price well six to ten weeks out.

January through March and the first half of November are the softest windows, when retail fares sit at the bottom of the ranges above and our sourced fares dip further. Late April to May and September to October are the sweet spot for weather and crowds, and still price below high summer.

Yes — British Airways flies Heathrow–Prague nonstop, about 1h45, in Club Europe: a standard seat with the middle blocked, lounge access and fast-track security. On a hop this short the premium buys ground comfort more than seat comfort.

Can I fly business class nonstop from Los Angeles to Prague?

Plan on one stop. From Los Angeles the practical routings are via Frankfurt or Munich on Lufthansa, via London on British Airways, via Toronto on Air Canada in summer, or via New York-JFK to join Delta’s seasonal nonstop — around 14–16 hours in total, lie-flat on the long leg.

What is the cheapest way to fly business class to Prague?

Travel in the soft months (January–March or early November), take a one-stop through a Lufthansa Group hub rather than the seasonal nonstops, and let us source the fare — Biirdee’s unpublished and negotiated business fares price below the retail ranges above. From Asia and Australia, Turkish Airlines via Istanbul and Qatar Airways via Doha are usually worth pricing first.
