Business Class Flights to Tel Aviv

Fares, airlines & the best time to book, TLV

Lie-flat to Ben Gurion from New York, Los Angeles and Miami, or a three-to-five-hour hop from Europe.

Business class flights to Tel Aviv land at Ben Gurion (TLV), about 20 km southeast of the city and under twenty minutes from Tel Aviv HaShalom and Savidor Center on the airport train. From the North American gateways we are asked about most, the nonstops include El Al from New York JFK (about 11h35m), Los Angeles (about 15h20m) and Miami (about 13h25m); Delta from JFK (about 11h35m) and Atlanta (about 13h05m); and United from Chicago O’Hare (about 12h35m). The map widens over the next two seasons: El Al restores San Francisco on 25 October 2026, United adds San Francisco on 28 March 2027, and American returns to JFK–Tel Aviv on 29 March 2027.

From Europe the flight is short, three to five hours, and every major hub has a nonstop. London Heathrow is about 4h55m on El Al, joined by British Airways from 24 October 2026; Paris about 4h30m on Air France and El Al; Frankfurt about 4h05m on Lufthansa, El Al and Condor; Munich about 3h45m; Zurich about 3h55m on Swiss; Vienna about 3h25m on Austrian; Rome about 3h15m on ITA Airways; Amsterdam about 4h30m on KLM; Madrid about 4h50m on Air Europa; Barcelona about 4h15m. That density means a one-stop over a European hub is always worth pricing against the U.S. nonstop, and that the cabin worth paying for is the one on the transatlantic leg, not the hop.

Eastbound the picture is thinner but improving. Dubai is about 3h05m on flydubai, El Al, Arkia and Israir; Bangkok about 9h and Tokyo Narita about 11h45m on El Al; Beijing about 9h15m on Hainan Airlines; Seoul joins on 28 March 2027 at about 10h20m. Low-cost carriers such as Wizz Air also fly into Tel Aviv from Europe, in economy only. We quote the published business class fares honestly on this page, then source below them.

Airlines Flying Business Class to Tel Aviv

El Al

Israel’s flag carrier and the deepest schedule into TLV by a wide margin: nonstop from New York JFK (about 11h35m), Los Angeles (about 15h20m), Miami (about 13h25m), Bangkok (about 9h), Tokyo Narita (about 11h45m) and a dozen European cities, with San Francisco returning 25 October 2026 and Seoul from 28 March 2027. The 787-9 carries a 1-2-1 lie-flat cabin with direct aisle access; the narrowbodies on short European runs are a much lighter business product, so check the aircraft before you pay for the seat. El Al does not operate on Shabbat, which compresses demand onto Thursday and Sunday departures.

Delta Air Lines

The broadest U.S.-carrier schedule: Delta One nonstop from New York JFK (about 11h35m) and from Atlanta (about 13h05m); the only Tel Aviv nonstop out of Atlanta, and the easiest one-connection routing from anywhere Delta serves. Delta rotates widebody types through this route, and not every one carries the newer Delta One suite with a door, worth checking the seat map on the day you book.

United Airlines

Polaris nonstop from Chicago O’Hare, about 12h35m, with San Francisco–Tel Aviv (about 15h) rejoining the schedule on 28 March 2027. A thin O’Hare schedule means discounted business buckets go early. From cities United does not fly into Tel Aviv itself, it also feeds the route through Star Alliance partners at Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich and Vienna.

American Airlines

Returns to Tel Aviv from New York JFK on 29 March 2027, about 11h35m, in American’s long-haul business cabin: the aircraft and seat for a route this far out are not fixed yet. Until then American sells the city one stop, most cleanly over British Airways at Heathrow once that route restarts on 24 October 2026. If your dates fall either side of that March restart, price both shapes of trip.

British Airways

Heathrow–Tel Aviv returns on 24 October 2026, about 4h55m, and it is the second half of a large number of one-stop itineraries out of the Americas. Expect BA’s short-haul Club Europe cabin (a blocked-middle seat rather than a lie-flat suite), on most rotations, with the occasional widebody. At under five hours the seat matters less than the connection time at Heathrow.

Lufthansa

The workhorse one-stop from the U.S. Midwest and East Coast: Frankfurt (about 4h05m) and Munich (about 3h45m) nonstop into TLV, with sister carriers Swiss from Zurich (about 3h55m) and Austrian from Vienna (about 3h25m) doing the same job on the same alliance ticket. Be clear-eyed about the last leg, on the narrowbodies that usually fly it, intra-Europe business is an economy seat with the middle blocked, though a widebody does turn up on Frankfurt from time to time. Buy the long-haul cabin; the hop is a formality.

Air France and KLM

Air France flies Paris CDG–Tel Aviv in about 4h30m and KLM flies Amsterdam in about 4h30m, both with well-timed banks off the North American arrivals. The same blocked-middle caveat applies to the European leg, but Paris and Amsterdam are the two easiest hubs on which to add a paid stopover rather than a two-hour transit.

flydubai

Dubai–Tel Aviv in about 3h05m: three hours that make Dubai a genuine single connection from Asia, Australia and East Africa. flydubai’s forward cabin is a wide 2-2 seat with generous recline; comfortable for three hours, but do not expect a long-haul flat bed. El Al, Arkia and Israir fly the same pair if the timing suits better, though the two Israeli leisure operators sell a lighter premium seat than the flag carrier does.

What Business Class to Tel Aviv Costs

Typical published round-trip business class ranges. Biirdee's sourced fares come in below these; request a quote for live pricing on your dates.

RouteTypical published fareNotes
From the U.S. East Coast$3,600–$7,000 round tripNonstop on El Al or Delta from New York JFK, Delta from Atlanta, El Al from Miami. Published fares as of September 2026; our sourced fares land under this.
From the U.S. West Coast$4,500–$9,000 round tripEl Al from Los Angeles, about 15h20m, with San Francisco back from 25 October 2026. One-stops via a European hub are worth pricing alongside the nonstop; on many dates they come in lower.
From London and the UK£800–£2,200 round tripEl Al year-round and British Airways from 24 October 2026, both about 4h55m. This is short-haul business, a blocked-middle seat on most rotations, so treat the top of the range as a peak-date outlier, not a target.
From continental Europe€700–€1,900 round tripLufthansa, Swiss, Austrian, Air France, KLM, ITA Airways, Air Europa and El Al from Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Vienna, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Madrid and Barcelona: three to five hours each.
From Dubai and the Gulf$800–$1,900 round tripflydubai, El Al, Arkia and Israir on the 3h05m Dubai run. Paired with a long-haul into DXB, this is one of the cheaper premium routings from Asia and Australia.
Peak (Passover, the High Holidays, July–August)Top of every range aboveDiaspora traffic books these windows months ahead and business sells out before economy does. Ben Gurion also closes completely for roughly 25 hours over Yom Kippur; nothing lands or departs.

Best Time to Book Business Class to Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv runs a beach calendar and a religious one at the same time. Spring, March to May, is the best weather of the year: high teens to mid-twenties Celsius, the sea swimmable from May, the city outdoors. July and August are hot and humid, above 30°C with heavy sea air, and they are also the Israeli school holidays, which fills flights in both directions. Late October and November are the quiet reward: still warm enough for the beach at the start, and noticeably softer fares. December to February is mild and wet, 15–19°C with real rain, and generally the cheapest stretch of the year outside the Hanukkah–New Year fortnight.

The holiday spikes are what actually move business class prices. Passover in April, and the High Holidays (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot), which cluster in September in 2026 and move through the first three weeks of October in 2027, both pull heavy diaspora traffic and can clear premium cabins many months ahead. Hanukkah overlapping Christmas and New Year does the same on a shorter runway. Note the hard stop in the middle of the autumn window: Ben Gurion shuts for about 25 hours over Yom Kippur, so build a day of slack either side rather than a tight connection.

Outside those windows, two to three months of lead time is enough. Business cabins into Tel Aviv are small in absolute terms: the lie-flat cabins on this route run to roughly thirty seats and several U.S. gateways see only one departure a day, so the discounted buckets empty long before the published fare moves. Midweek departures usually price below weekends, and because El Al does not fly on Shabbat, Thursday and Sunday departures across all carriers tend to carry the heaviest demand; Tuesday and Wednesday are worth checking first. Send us your dates and gateway and we will come back with a quote, usually within the hour, on the negotiated and unpublished fares for that routing.

Business Class to Tel Aviv: FAQs

How much are business class flights to Tel Aviv?

As of September 2026, published round trips run roughly $3,600–$7,000 from the U.S. East Coast, $4,500–$9,000 from the West Coast, £800–£2,200 from London, €700–€1,900 from continental Europe and $800–$1,900 on the short Dubai hop. Passover, the High Holidays and July–August price at the top of every band. Biirdee’s negotiated and unpublished fares typically land below those ranges.

Which airlines fly business class to Tel Aviv nonstop?

From North America: El Al (New York JFK, Los Angeles, Miami, plus San Francisco from 25 October 2026), Delta (JFK and Atlanta), United (Chicago O’Hare, adding San Francisco on 28 March 2027) and American (JFK from 29 March 2027). From Europe: British Airways from Heathrow from 24 October 2026, Lufthansa from Frankfurt and Munich, Swiss from Zurich, Austrian from Vienna, Air France from Paris, KLM from Amsterdam, ITA Airways from Rome, Air Europa from Madrid, and El Al from all of those cities plus Barcelona. From the east: flydubai from Dubai, El Al from Bangkok and Tokyo Narita, and Hainan Airlines from Beijing. Israeli operators Arkia and Israir add frequency on many of the same pairs with a lighter premium cabin, and low-cost carriers such as Wizz Air fly the route in economy only.

Is there a direct business class flight from New York or London to Tel Aviv?

Yes to both. New York JFK has El Al and Delta nonstop today, about 11h35m, with American joining on 29 March 2027. London Heathrow has El Al year-round, about 4h55m, and British Airways returns to the route on 24 October 2026. From Los Angeles the only nonstop is El Al, about 15h20m; San Francisco regains service on 25 October 2026 with El Al and on 28 March 2027 with United. Chicago O’Hare flies nonstop on United, Atlanta on Delta and Miami on El Al. From other North American cities the trip is usually one stop, most often over a European hub; tell us your home airport and we will price both shapes.

How long is the flight to Tel Aviv?

About 11h35m from New York, 12h35m from Chicago, 13h05m from Atlanta, 13h25m from Miami and 15h20m from Los Angeles. From Europe it is short: about 4h55m from London, 4h30m from Paris and Amsterdam, 4h50m from Madrid, 4h05m from Frankfurt, 3h55m from Zurich, 3h45m from Munich, 3h25m from Vienna and 3h15m from Rome. Dubai is about 3h05m, Bangkok about 9h, Beijing about 9h15m and Tokyo about 11h45m.

Are there first class flights to Tel Aviv?

We are not aware of a true first class cabin on any current Tel Aviv nonstop: the top cabin on every one of them, El Al included, is business. If you want a first class seat somewhere in the journey it has to sit on the long-haul leg of a one-stop: Lufthansa still flies a First cabin from a handful of U.S. gateways into Frankfurt and Munich on the aircraft it assigns it to, and you take business class on the three-to-four-hour hop into TLV. We are happy to price that pairing, but on most dates the money buys more comfort on a nonstop lie-flat.

What is the best business class to Tel Aviv?

For the seat, El Al’s 787-9: a 1-2-1 lie-flat cabin with direct aisle access, and the only nonstop from Los Angeles and Miami. Delta One from JFK or Atlanta is the strongest U.S.-carrier alternative, and the newer A330-900s carry suites with doors. For value out of Europe, buy the transatlantic cabin on Lufthansa, Swiss, Air France or KLM and accept that the final leg is an economy seat with the middle blocked; at three to five hours it costs you very little. From Asia or the Gulf, flydubai’s business cabin on the 3h05m Dubai run is the shortest premium leg into the country.

What is the cheapest way to fly business class to Tel Aviv?

Travel in the soft weeks (November, and mid-January to early March) depart Tuesday or Wednesday, and route through a European hub, where the long-haul leg prices as a competitive Europe fare and the Tel Aviv hop adds little. From Asia or Australia, a Dubai connection onto the three-hour flydubai run is often the cheapest premium shape, worth pricing against a through-fare rather than assuming either wins. Beyond that, the saving is in the fare type rather than the routing: we book negotiated and unpublished business class fares that never appear on the public sites.
